
Bio
Olivia Huseonica is a dedicated and experienced professional in the fields of dance, choreography, physical fitness, and movement instruction. With an Honors Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Minor in Nutrition from the University of Utah, Olivia brings a deep understanding of the intersection of movement, emotional expression and holistic health to her clients. She was recognized for her talent in choreographic expression in school, winning the Ballet Senior Award for Choreography, an honor bestowed on one student per year for excellence in conceptualizing and executing impactful artistic work. She also participated in academic research as part of her degree. Her undergraduate thesis focused on navigating hormonal wellness as a female athlete, highlighting her commitment to a comprehensive approach to understanding the body in motion. Whether its yoga, stretching or dance, Olivia strongly believes in cultivating a somatic practice that puts health and healing first.
In 2022, Olivia got her 200-hour Hatha yoga certification from Green Lotus Yoga and Healing Center in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and has been passionately teaching yoga ever since. She is also certified in one-on-one assisted stretching through StretchLab’s flexologist training program, and works regularly with clients to improve their flexibility and overall well-being.
Since moving to Sarasota in 2023, Olivia has become an integral part of the local dance scene, performing and choreographing for Azara Ballet Company and teaching dance throughout the area. She is passionate about using movement as a therapeutic healing modality for all ages, and cares deeply about all her students and clients. She is extremely excited and honored to be able to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with anyone who needs it!
